Provides a growth oriented leadership
role in managing the Companys sales efforts in the assigned
territory of responsibility. Focus on retail scale distributors,
regional chains and national accounts. |

Manages reseller policies with
consistency and fairness. Ensures that all customers receive
training on Company products and services through on site visits,
service schools and trade show participation. |

Aggressively travels as required,
optimizing sales growth and profit margin within the assigned
territory. |
| |
Expands current distributor base,
especially to those capable of selling and supporting networked,
high-end retail scales and backroom equipment. |
| |
Continually evaluates new business
opportunities relating to product line expansion and new market
opportunities. Promptly reports opportunities to Company. |

Evaluates and develops strategic
partnerships with POS system and multi-vendor store management
software providers. |
| |
Reports all customer action items
and market intelligence through weekly travel and/or contact
reports. While in the field, all customer action items are to
be phoned or faxed into the Company for immediate action, with
a goal of same day response to standard inquiries and customer
support. |

Maintains confidentiality between
customers by never discussing details of one company with another. |
| |
Assists in formulating sales
and marketing plans within the assigned territory. |

Actively participates as a member
of the retail business unit. Collateral duties may include committee
participation in areas of new product development, customer
service, safety and quality. |

Performs and coordinates special
projects. Projects may include subjects within direct responsibilities
of concerning general company business. |

Staffs company trade shows, assisting
with setup and teardown. |
| |
Develops a thorough knowledge
of the retail product line through formal internal training
and self-directed learning. |

| QUALIFICATIONS/PREREQUISITES |
| Education and
Experience |

BA degree in Business Administration,
Sales, Marketing or Engineering, or five (5) or more years of
relevant industry experience. |

Five (5) or more years of scale
industry experience. |

Three (3) or more years of international
sales/marketing experience. |

Two (2) or more years
of management/supervisory experience. |
